Our Product

We lovingly handcraft eight to ten inch crocheted critters that look just like your pet. We were inspired to start this business by our amazing parakeet Darwin Pluto and all of the love he has received on his Instagram account. Darwin loves his critter so much that we decided we wanted to make critters for all of his pet friends. Any type of pet is welcome! To purchase your critter, click here.

How It Works

You send us pictures of your pet and we will crochet you a critter that you and your pet will love. After you've placed your order, all you have to do is DM us your pictures on Instagram @designs_by_darwin. If you don't have an Instagram account, you can email us your pictures at darwinkeet@gmail.com. For the cutest and most accurate critter, make sure you provide a front, side, and back view of your pet. Also make sure to send us your paypal username/email address so we know who you are. The price per critter is $19.99 with free shipping in the U.S. The price per critter (including shipping) for all customers outside of the U.S. is $29.99. Flip Critters

NEW! Flip Critters! We now make reversible critters that can be turned inside out to reveal two adorably different critters! You can fully customize your flip critter by providing us with pictures or descriptions of the two animals you would like to be created. Both need to be the same type of animal (dog, cat, bird etc). Keychain Critters

Introducing Keychain Critters! You send us pictures of your pet and we will crochet you a critter keychain that looks just like your pet. Critter size is between three and four inches. After you've placed your order, all you have to do is DM us your pictures on Instagram @designs_by_darwin. If you don't have an Instagram account, you can email us your pictures at darwinkeet@gmail.com.
